Biography

Udit Bhatia is Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Trust Bank Singapore. With over 23 years of risk experience across payments, retail banking, wealth management, and insurance, Udit has held CRO roles at HSBC Hong Kong, Barclays Africa, and senior risk roles at Standard Chartered Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand before expanding his expertise in payments risk at Visa. This deliberate breadth across financial sectors and geographies gives him a rare and rounded view of risks across banking, payments, and beyond. An Inlaks Scholar at the London School of Economics, Udit brings deep regional experience spanning Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.
