Shalinee Mimani, a Chartered and a Cost Accountant, brings nearly three decades of rich experience in BFSI Risk Management. Her expertise is in Retail Risk, with specialisation in Risk Management, Credit Underwriting, Policy, Analytics, Collections and Portfolio management. Her illustrious career spans prestigious roles in MNCs such as Bank of America, ABN Amro Bank as well as private sector banks like HDFC Bank and DCB and leading NBFCs . As Chief Risk Officer at Godrej Capital, Shalinee has been instrumental in fostering a strong risk culture and building a resilient portfolio across secured and unsecured lending businesses. She also plays a key role in advancing financial inclusion through responsible, customer-centric lending practices. Shalinee's career includes key roles in launching and managing Retail Asset portfolios for leading banks and NBFCs. She was pivotal in introducing analytical score-based underwriting for affordable housing finance at a prominent NBFC. Her comprehensive experience covers all areas of risk management across various retail lending products such as Mortgages including Affordable housing finance, Personal loans, MSME loans, and Auto loans. Before joining Godrej Capital, she served as the Chief Risk Officer at Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd. Shalinee's contributions have been recognized with numerous awards.
