Biography

Laura is a senior risk leader and former Chief Risk Officer with 16 years of international experience across the HSBC Group. She has held a range of first and second line of defence roles across Corporate Banking, Transformation and Risk & Compliance, in markets including the UK, Lebanon, Mauritius and Hong Kong. In her current role as Head of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Singapore, Laura leads a broad remit spanning operational and resilience risk, climate, model and geopolitical risk, and emerging areas including AI and digital assets. She also covers risk appetite, culture, governance and strategy, and is an active coach, mentor and facilitator.
